Moments Crafted with Care

While every sunrise promises serenity, adventure, and unforgettable moments, we are pleased to introduce Mohamed Jinan, our dedicated Resort Manager, whose journey and values quietly shape the experience of this island sanctuary.

With a career spanning over two decades, built on discipline, teamwork and sincere dedication to guest care, Jinan began his path in 2000 in entry-level roles. Early on, he developed a deep respect for operational teams and the guest experience. His hands-on, people-centred approach continues to guide him today, supporting colleagues and ensuring every guest feels genuinely cared for throughout their stay. Having served Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu in several roles, from Front Office Manager to Operations Manager, his return as Resort Manager feels more like a heartfelt homecoming, with a deep connection to the island and its way of life guiding every decision.

At Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu, the island’s philosophy goes beyond comfort and style, seeking harmony with nature. With villas designed in traditional Maldivian architecture, the resort preserves the island’s authentic spirit while offering thoughtful amenities. Under Jinan’s care, sustainability remains a constant focus, from plastic-free practices to reef conservation, turtle rehabilitation, and guest experiences that respect the natural environment.

What truly defines Coco Palm is the intimacy of the island. Our small scale allows for personalisation, anticipating guest preferences, creating bespoke dining or celebration moments, curating marine adventures in the Biosphere Reserve, and crafting memories rooted in authenticity.

You might often find Jinan strolling the island with a warm, genuine smile, welcoming new arrivals, sharing a quiet meal, listening with care to guests’ stories, and personally attending to their feedback. He believes that when guests feel truly understood and valued, their stay becomes more than just a holiday, a memory etched in time.

A a leader whose quiet dedication and genuine care help make Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu a place where nature, simplicity and heartfelt hospitality come together.
