A natural treasure nestled in the heart of the Baa Atoll UNESCO Biosphere Reserve; Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu is renowned for its untouched coral reefs which is in close proximity to the island.

The island with its fair share of channels to explore, has greater than 35 distinct dive sites neighbouring, with sites just 15 minutes away off the island. This expansive atoll is home to one of the diverse collections of coral reefs in the Indian Ocean, with over 250 species of vibrant coral species.

Home to one of the largest populations of manta rays, you can witness these majestic creatures in UNESCO designated Biosphere Reserve from May until November to feed and get cleaned. Other beloved marine organisms grace this area as well, including the endangered green turtles, hawksbill turtles, and nurse sharks, leaving both absolute beginners and seasoned divers mesmerised with each visit. Muthaafushi Thila, a rare gem in Baa Atoll is one of the best dive sites near Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu and quite famous among the divers. This is as it is accessible to all diver levels and is a site that is not prone to extreme strong currents.
